Leeds United in race to sign Nick Powell

Leeds United in race to sign Nick Powell

Leeds United have been a dominant force so far this season and it doesn’t look as if they’re about to slow down anytime soon.

Indeed, the Whites managed to secure all three points against Norwich City yesterday as Ezgjan Alioski, Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez were all on target. Although, it looks as if Marcelo Bielsa is seeking further improvements on the transfer front, as according to Teamtalk, Leeds United are in a race to sign Nick Powell.

Interestingly, Leeds United are believed to be interested in signing Wigan Atheltic’s Nick Powell.

It is understood that Wigan would take a deal worth £5 million for the 24-year-old, and the Latics have been inundated with interest.

Although, the Whites aren’t the only team interested in the attacking midfielder as Middlesbrough, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion are ready to compete for his signature, whilst Scottish champions Celtic are also keeping a close eye on the situation.

The Whites could become unstoppable if they managed to secure the services of Nick Powell as he has been phenomenal for Wigan Athletic so far this season.

Indeed, the attacking midfielder certainly knows how to work an opportunity for his teammates and isn’t afraid to find the back of the net either.

Leeds United do face stiff competition from a number of other clubs for the Englishman’s signature, so it won’t be easy to bring him to Elland Road.
