Leeds United fans here in the Tavern will be looking forward to next season, as they may even be able to challenge for promotion if they bring in the right kind of players this summer.
Paul Heckingbottom has struggled to ensure consistency since joining Leeds United back in February, so supporters will be desperate to see major improvements next season. However, it looks as if the Englishman is already looking at potential additions, as according to the Scottish Sun, Leeds United are interested in Liverpool starlet Harry Wilson.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of the season on loan at fellow Championship side Hull City, where he managed to score an impressive seven goals and assisted four for his teammates.
Although, it looks as if Leeds won’t be able to sign him permanently, as it’s believed that Liverpool want a loan fee of £250,000 plus penalties if Wilson does not play enough games.
However, they could face stiff competition for the youngster, as it’s understood that Rangers, Huddersfield Town and Aston Villa are also interested.
Harry Wilson was Hull City’s standout performer during the second half of the season, as he managed to find the back of the net with ease and produced a number of assists for his teammates as a well-rounded player. So, if Leeds United can bring him to the club this summer, perhaps they’ll be able to challenge for promotion next season.
