Marcelo Bielsa has fans dreaming at Elland Road at this moment in time and it’s safe to say that yesterday’s victory at Ashton Gate only heightened the excitement. Indeed, promotion to the Premier League is edging closer and Patrick Bamford has been at the heart of it.
Many fans would have feared the worst when Kemar Roofe suffered his injury but things have ended up working out better for the Yorkshire club, as Bamford has made a name for himself at Elland Road of late.
What’s the news?
But, it appears as if Marcelo Bielsa already has his eyes on another attacking star, as according to talkSPORT, Leeds United have been monitoring Queens Park Rangers’ Eberechi Eze.
However, the 20-year-old has made it clear he is settled and happy to remain at Loftus Road.
Eberechi Eze is arguably one of the most promising attacking midfielders in English football, let alone the Championship, having produced four goals and four assists this season.
The Whites are bracing themselves for Samu Saiz’s supposed exit in the summer transfer window, so it’s safe to say that bringing in an attacking midfielder would certainly benefit Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Indeed, many fans have loved what they’ve seen of Jack Clarke so far this season, so perhaps Bielsa can work some magic by bringing Eze up through the gears at Elland Road next season.
Leeds United fans, can you see Eze at the heart of your attack next season? Surely Tyler Roberts has done enough to stake a claim…
