Leeds United official confirms two transfers are in the works

Matt Smith The Leeds United fans are gathered around the jukebox selecting some tunes in The Transfer Tavern this evening and discussing comments made about potential new incomings at the club.

The Yorkshire Evening post is reporting that the club are hopeful of adding a couple of new faces to the squad in the next 48 hours.

During an interview with Leeds assistant manager Paul Raynor he revealed that the club had made two bid is writing for potential new players to arrive at the club.

Leeds have been linked with Kyle Lafferty, Lee Tomlin and Marcus Maddison during the last couple of weeks and with Steve Evans unavailable to carry out press duties ahead of the weekends game due to a meeting with club owner Massimo Cellino, Raynor is hopeful new faces are on the horizon.

Speaking about potential moves in the market, Raynor said:

“There are two written bids out there. I know the manager was in contact with a club last night and also made a verbal bid for a club so things are happening.”

“We are trying to do things, we want to improve and the president has been very receptive to our ideas and what we want to do. That’s very positive for us and there’s money available.”

The Leeds fans in The Transfer Tavern are pleased that additions look like being made to their squad, and look forward to finding out who the club sign over the next few days.
