Leeds supporters in the Transfer Tavern are readying themselves for a summer brimming with transfer activity – one that includes several additions and departures.
A new-found optimism characterises Leeds fans, in light of Thomas Christiansen’s appointment and Andrea Radrizzani’s ownership. There is a sincere sense that this could be the season in which the Whites finally conclude their Premier League return, as the club looks to build upon the seventh-placed finish they attained last campaign.
Leeds have completed two transfers already, and it seems that they’re keen to discard those who are no longer desired at the club as a method to balance the books. One such player is the controversial figure Giuseppe Bellusci, who is infamously known for his lack of discipline. A move away from Elland Road looked virtually complete, yet comments from his agent suggest that his departure isn’t progressing as expected.
According to BBC broadcaster, Adam Pope, Bellusci has been granted more time to find a new club before returning to Leeds next week. Our landlord believes that Leeds will be eager to dispose of the want-away defender who has only a year left on his contract.
The prospect of seeing Bellusci in a Leeds shirt once again doesn’t entice the Peacocks’ supporters.
The guys is probably one of the worst signings in the clubs history, pay him off and ship him away. Absolute poison
