Leeds United have been hit with a number of injuries in Marcelo Bielsa’s first season in charge, however, it now appears he has to deal with a wantaway player.
Rumours have gathered pace about Samu Saiz and his desire to leave Elland Road after a disappointing season by his own standards, with Getafe thought to be interested.
The playmaker was outstanding for large parts of last season, however, he has failed to get going under the Argentine and has seen his performances come under a lot of scrutiny recently.
And, according to Phil Hay, it appears as though Bielsa has no qualms on letting the 27-year-old return to Spain.
the club feel that given his frame of mind (he's set on leaving) there's no value in keeping him. It's moved very quickly but from what I can gather, Bielsa has approved his exit. He tends to be philosophical about these things. We'll see what he has to say tomorrow.

The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist has revealed that the manager has ‘approved’ his exit, whilst the club feel there is no value in keeping him at Elland Road if he does not want to be there.
In a season that has largely been successful for Leeds, Saiz’s performances are likely to have been something that has disappointed those at the Whites.
The 27-year-old was brilliant in his first season with the club and quickly earned himself a reputation of being a favourite with the fans at the club.
With Bielsa seemingly happy for the player to leave in the winter, it will remain to be seen if the Argentine will look to bring anyone in for him to continue their efforts for Premier League football.
