Leeds United are sitting near the summit of the Championship table after a fine start to the season, despite all the injuries they have suffered.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been dogged by concerns throughout the campaign so far and have been without a number of key players as they face time on the sidelines.
Those injuries do not appear to have had any detrimental effect on their efforts so far, which is surprising considering the lack of options the Argentine has.
It is claimed that Bielsa wants to add a centre-back, a winger and a new striker to the club and owner Andrea Radrizzani will back him in the transfer window if the Whites remain on course for promotion.
The attacking options is where the Elland Road outfit have been hit heavily, whilst their centre-back options appear to look a little light.
Bielsa is also keen to add depth to the left side of the wing, giving him more options to choose from in future.
Leeds have already been playing extremely well this season and given the size of the squad, there were some early doubts they would be.
Already considered to be strong favourites to be promoted at the end of the campaign, should Bielsa be able to add to the three areas, the Whites would be in a strong position to win the Championship.
However, for all that to happen, it appears that they will need to get to January in the position that they are currently in and with a lot of football to be played between now and then, it remains to be seen what happens in the winter.
