Martin O’Neill is keen to add new players to the Nottingham Forest squad he recently inherited.
And it appears he has been handed a boost by the club he once successfully managed as Brendan Rodgers is believed to be more than happy to let the winger leave on loan.
The 22-year-old is not thought to be an immediate part of Celtic’s plans and the club are prepared to let him leave to get regular minutes in the second half of the season.
However, Nottingham Forest are expected to face some tough competition to land Morgan, with the likes of Hull City and Aberdeen thought to hold an interest in the winger.
Morgan would be considered an excellent addition at Nottingham Forest if they were able to land him this winter.
The winger netted 18 goals last season during his time at St Mirren and his goals would be something that The City Ground outfit would benefit from in the second half of the Championship campaign.
With the club aiming for promotion to the Premier League, the Tricky Trees currently sit seven points off a playoff spot with 18 games of the season left to play.
