Nottingham Forest have been a mixed bag so far this season under Aitor Karanka as they just can’t seem to find any consistency.
Forest will still have their sights set on securing a play-off spot despite their unconvincing start to proceedings, with Aitor Karanka steering the ship. Although, it appears as if the Championship club are eyeing a potential swoop, as according to The Sun on Sunday (09/09, page 63) (via HITC), Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Bakary Sako.
Interestingly, Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in offering free agent Bakary Sako a contract.
Although, they aren’t the only team interested in signing the winger, as the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa are also keeping an eye.
The 30-year-old turned down a contract offer from former club Crystal Palace ahead of the summer which allowed him to secure his Selhurst Park exit.
Bakary Sako has previous experience in the Championship from his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers, so he could definitely do the job for Nottingham Forest in the current campaign.
The winger still has a lot to offer and will no doubt establish himself as a star in the Championship once again, so Forest should do everything they possibly can to secure his services.
