Nottingham Forest have been a mixed bag in the Championship this season, with their play-off hopes slowly diminishing.
Aitor Karanka finds himself in a worrying position as Forest continue to struggle for form, with just one win in their last five Championship appearances.
However, it appears as if the Championship club are looking to strengthen, as according to Telefoot (via HITC), Nottingham Forest are interested in Silas Wamangituka.
Nottingham Forest are believed to be interested in securing the services of the Frenchman, with Newcastle United also taking a similar interest.
And, it’s thought that Forest have sent scouts to watch the attacker in recent weeks.
The 19-year-old has made a name for himself this season, producing four goals and one assist in his last six games.
Indeed, the Midlands club have managed to develop a number of promising youngsters over the years, so there’s no reason as to why they can’t get the best out of another impressive talent.
Silas Wamangituka has really made a name for himself since making the move to Paris FC, and he is now being touted for a big future as a striker who currently stands at 6ft 2 inches.
Forest already have a number of forwards at their disposal, but any potential move for the 19-year-old would be with the future in mind at the City Ground.
