Nottingham Forest have been busy in the transfer window this summer making their squad capable of a challenge for Premier League football.
Aitor Karanka has been making the most of using the opportunity to make transfers this summer to it’s maximum as he looks to build upon their disappointing campaign from last year.
The City Ground outfit have already added the likes of Jack Colback, Diego Goncalves, Michael Dawson, Joao Carvalho and Lewis Grabben, amongst others, showing their intent of pushing for a place in the top-flight.
However, with all the additions that Karanka has made, it appears that he may be willing to let some leave the Tricky Trees this summer, with reports suggesting one man could be about to leave on a temporary basis.
The arrival of Colback looks to have pushed the 20-year-old further down the pecking order, hence the reason why Karanka will consider a loan move for him.
With Rotherham playing their football in the Championship next year, it could be a good move for all involved if Yates did join the Millers.
The young midfielder would find it difficult to get a place in the first-team this season as they are challenging for a spot in the Premier League, and could benefit from getting regular minutes at a side looking to be competitive in the division.
