Nottingham Forest are keen on making improvements next summer and their fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting changes to be made.
Aitor Karanka made ten signings during the winter transfer window as he wanted to make changes from the side that he inherited from Mark Warburton, and it is believed he is prepared to make as many changes in the summer as well.
According to a report by the Newcastle Chronicle, the Tricky Trees are keen on tying up Jack Colback on a permanent deal, with the midfielder not having a future at the St. James’ Park outfit. He joined the Championship struggles in January on loan and appears to have done enough to try and seal a permanent switch to the City Ground.
He made 16 appearances for Karanka’s side, scoring just the one goal, however, it is believed he did enough to impress the boss and the locals in the bar, with the Spaniard keen to speak with the Magpies about a deal.
The Nottingham Forest fans in the Tavern will be pleased to see that the club are trying to bring in the experienced man on a permanent basis as they look to improve on their dismal Championship campaign and challenge for a Premier League spot next season.
