Nottingham Forest fans will be happy as they down their pints in the Transfer Tavern as it has been reported by TalkSport that Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest will make a move for youngster Ziggy Gordon in January.
The Hamilton Academical defender has been at the club since 2003 and rose through the ranks at the club all the way to first team making his debut in 2011 and has already made 114 league appearances at the grand old age of 22.
However, it is believed that Gordon is looking for a new challenge away from Scotland and with the highly-rated youngster’s contract running out at the end of the season a number of clubs have been put on high alert
It is Forest that has emerged as one of those clubs with the looks to a summer move. However TalkSport report that it could be much earlier than that with Forest looking towards a January loan move before making the deal permanent.
Forest aren’t the only Championship side that are looking at Gordon though, with both Charlton and Wolverhampton Wanderers also linked to the defender.
Forest fans what do you think? Do you think that Gordon will be a good addition to your side? Comment below!
