Nottingham Forest failed to secure all three points in yesterday’s game against Wigan Athletic as they drew 1-1.
Forest have looked rather promising this season under Aitor Karanka as they continue to look towards promotion to the Premier League. Although the Spaniard is having to deal with a potential exit as this moment in time, as according to reliable journalist Alan Nixon’s personal Twitter account, Nottingham Forest will sell Ben Brereton if the right agreement is reached with Blackburn Rovers.
Alan Nixon reported on Sunday morning that negotiations between the two clubs had now advanced to the subject of a sell-on clause.
And, he then went on to say that Forest will sell the striker if they can agree a fee.
The Englishman has established himself as one of the most promising strikers in English football over the past couple of seasons, but he hasn’t been given the chances this season.
Ben Brereton’s time at the City Ground looks to be coming to an end as Blackburn Rovers are desperate to bring him to Ewood Park.
Karanka seems to have replaced him with the likes of Hillal Soudani and Lewis Grabban this summer, despite him impressing in recent years.
Indeed, Forest will be hoping that Blackburn can meet their asking price for the forward as he is still one of the hottest topics in English football and has the potential to succeed at the highest level.
