Birmingham City have been rather impressive under Garry Monk this season as they continue to hunt down a play-off spot in the Championship.
The Blues haven’t exactly been blessed with the best of squads in the current campaign, but Monk has been able to rally his troops to produce a fine run of form in recent times. Although, it appears as if one of the club’s youngsters has left the club, as according to Birmingham Live, Odin Bailey has joined Gloucester on loan.
Birmingham City striker Odin Bailey has been sent out on loan.
Indeed, the 18-year-old has joined Gloucester City, of National League South, for a month.
The Blues want the forward to gain regular playing experience in his first spell away from the club.
Interestingly, the youngster is yet to make his senior debut at St Andrew’s but was included in Garry Monk’s squad for the pre-season training camp in Austria.
Birmingham City will be keen to see how the youngster fares out on loan as he is very highly-rated at St Andrew’s.
The attacker has been a regular with the Blues Under-23s this season, making six appearances and scoring three goals before struggling with injuries.
Therefore, it’s clear to see that he has plenty of promise and potential, with a very bright future ahead of him.
