Pawel Cibicki completes move to Elfsborg

Marcelo Bielsa is thought to want to try and add to his Leeds United squad as they look to strengthen their chances of securing promotion to the Premier League.

However, it appears that he has more players departing from Elland Road than arriving this January.

The club have confirmed with an official statement on their website that Pawel Cibicki has sealed a loan switch to Elfsborg.

The 25-year-old will spend the second half of the season with the Allsvenskan outfit, having spent the first half of the campaign in Norway with Molde.

The Verdict:

Cibicki has struggled to make a real impact during his time at the Yorkshire side since arriving in the summer of 2017 and it is no real surprise to see him depart.

After a rather flat spell with Molde, it was always unlikely that he would get a chance to impress for Bielsa and a move back to his homeland could do wonders for his career.

However, Leeds will want to see some new faces arrive as they look to continue their push for Premier League football next season.
