Phil Hay states Leeds are looking at two more additions this summer

Leeds United have not had a transfer window to remember this summer, with a number of deals seemingly not going anywhere.

The Whites have had numerous targets that they have identified, however, Marcelo Bielsa’s club have not been able to get them across the line.

The Argentine is desperate to add bodies to his squad this summer as they prepare for the Championship campaign, in which the Elland Road outfit want to challenge for a Premier League spot.

However, Phil Hay has revealed that things could be looking up for Leeds this summer as he provided a crucial transfer update to one fan that asked if there were any movements.

The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist had revealed that Leeds have been working on two possible deals and could be close to announcing the new arrivals, despite not knowing names.

He stated that the Whites are in discussion with a Premier League club about a loan deal for a player, whilst the Elland Road outfit is also close to completing a deal for a Championship player.

The Verdict:

It could finally be exciting times for Leeds this summer with the news from Hay, with the journalist proving fairly reliable over time.

The club are desperate to add, and despite there being no mention of names, they should surely add to the squad this summer in their efforts to achieve Premier League football.
