Leeds United have been flying high at the top of the Championship, despite having a squad that looks thin in places.
Marcelo Bielsa offloaded a number of players in the summer before injuries started to hit the Whites badly.
The Elland Road outfit have lost key players at times with medical concerns, however, they have somehow managed to cope with a lack of options and remain near the summit of the Championship ladder.
It is thought that Bielsa could do with adding to his squad to provide him with some further cover, but it appears one man is of no interest to the Argentine.
Talking on the Inside Elland Road podcast, the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist stated: “I have looked into this and from what I’ve been told there is no chance of him coming to Leeds, although he was angling for it.
“He was pictured in Leeds not so long ago and he was on the Sky Goals on Sunday program.
“How bad would the injury crisis have to get for Bielsa to start panicking? He hasn’t really blinked at the loss of Roofe, Bamford and Berardi.
“Huth said on Goals on Sunday that Leeds would be the perfect move for him but Leeds don’t seem inclined to do that one at all, regardless of Huth’s track record.
“I don’t think his style of play is what Bielsa is looking for.”
Hay has been very reliable in the past when it comes to news about Leeds and transfers, so this one seems to be very unlikely to happen.
As he mentioned, Bielsa has not been phased by the current concerns and has the belief in the players he has to get the job done, despite certain areas being weakened through injuries.
Huth has a great record and would certainly help to improve the team, however, it does not appear that Leeds are that interested in the German defender.
