Queens Park Rangers secured a promising draw against Derby County prior to the international break as things begin to look up for the London club.
The Hoops have struggled to ensure consistency throughout the current campaign, but they have gone their last two games without defeat. And, it appears as if Steve McClaren is potentially looking to strengthen, as according to West London Sport, Queens Park Rangers have taken former Watford defender Charlie Rowan on loan.
Indeed, the defender was released by the latter in the summer after failing to make a senior appearance for the Hornets, and also failed to make an appearance for Accrington Stanley during his loan spell last season.
Interestingly, the 20-year-old has since been at Italian side Torino following the expiry of his contract at Vicarage Road, with a move to the Championship potentially in the offing.
It’s clear to see that things haven’t worked out for the defender in recent times as his loan spell last season and time at Vicarage Road was rather disappointing. However, a move to the Championship could be in the offing if he manages to impress during his trial at the club, with Steve McClaren looking to strengthen defensively.
