Of course, with Angel Rangel having arrived on a short-term deal while Darnell Furlong is out injured, Rangers will turn their attention to the defence.
Queens Park Rangers desperately need to bring in a defender before the loan deadline as they just haven’t been able to ensure solidity at the back.
Indeed, an injury to Furlong has caused for McClaren to take a look at using the loan window once again, having welcomed two Premier League forwards to the club already.
So, it looks as if the Hoops’ hopes will depend on the kind of player they can bring in this week.
