Radrizzani needs to hand Christiansen a welcome transfer boost by moving for 26-year-old winger

Always on the lookout for top talent from across the European game, Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen will no doubt be in the market to bolster his squad, as the Danish boss prepares his side for an automatic promotion surge over the next few months.

Leeds fans here in The Transfer Tavern are extremely excited by what this cold month has in store for their squad, and couldn’t help but speculate over new signings during a chat with our landlord over several pints. Leeds have looked good going forward this season, but fans are keen to see more, with another wide option a possibility to bolster their ranks. With Samu Saiz suspended for six-games for spitting at an opponent during Sunday’s FA Cup exit to Newport County, another attacking midfielder could be required, and our landlord couldn’t help but suggest a move for Italian Serie B man, Cristian Galano.

There exists a strong Italian connection at Leeds, with chairman Andrea Radrizzani from the southern European nation, and this could appeal to the 26-year-old winger. Currently at Bari under legendary Italian defender Fabio Grosso, Galano has been electric form in the second tier, registering an impressive thirteen goals from the wing in only sixteen outings. Such form will appeal to Christiansen, with goals certain to guide his side up the table in the coming weeks. Both Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski has made the transition from the continent to West Yorkshire this season, and with Galano in the form he is in, Christiansen would be foolish not to consider a swoop for the player.

Leeds fans, should Christiansen look another attacking option given Saiz’s ban? Let us know!
