Rangers facing battle to land reported target as Caixinha continues to look at options

Pre-season hasn’t exactly been the most promising indictment of Rangers’ new-look side, though many of the punters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are aware things take time to bed in.

With Pedro Caixinha overhauling the playing staff at Ibrox, our resident Gers can often be found waxing lyrical on how they believe the Portuguese should set up next term. Following the arrival of so many new faces, it certainly makes for an interesting debate.

Indeed, it seems the Light Blues are keen on adding another new man to the mix this summer. According to the Daily Mail, the SPFL giants are interested in out of contract Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe.

Free to leave Craven Cottage, the former Manchester United youngster struggled to play his way into the first-team picture with the Cottagers, though the notion of him moving to Rangers has intrigued our punters.

Clearly a talented midfielder, perhaps he could be an astute replacement to replace the recently-departed Matty Crooks. Still, the Gers aren’t thought to be the only interest party, with the likes of Preston and Barnsley also said to be keen.
