Report: Bielsa seeks domination with another star being eyed

Leeds United fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side can hit the ground running in the next campaign, with aims of securing promotion to the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa will be looking to make great strides on the transfer front after being appointed as Paul Heckingbottom’s successor not so long ago. Indeed, the South American has already managed to secure one signing today and it looks as if he’s eyeing another, as according to Sky Sports, Leeds United are interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman.

Interestingly, the Whites are looking to strengthen in the goalkeeping department, with Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman reportedly being eyed.

Blackman spent last season in the Sky Bet Championship on loan at Sheffield United, where he made 33 appearances for Chris Wilder’s side.

Leeds were impressed with Bailey Peacock-Farrell’s rise to stardom last season, but adding Jamal Blackman to their ranks would take them to another level and would help ensure consistency in-between the sticks.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Leeds managed to secure the services of Lewis Baker this morning, who has established himself as a midfield star in years gone by having performed to a high standard both in the Blues’ youth ranks and out on loan. Therefore, it looks as if Marcelo Bielsa is eyeing domination by submitting an interest in Jamal Blackman, who has already established himself as a star in the Championship during his time at Bramall Lane.
