Report: Bielsa to receive huge help as Leeds look set to rebuild

Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited about what could lie ahead for the club this summer following the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa.

The arrival of the new manager took many in the bar by surprise as he is a manager with a wealth of experience at the top levels of the game and the punters will be delighted to have him as their new boss.

Along with his experience, Bielsa has a number of high-profile contacts in the game and according to a report in The Sun, he could be about to receive some help in recruiting a couple of players to help build his Leeds side.

It is being claimed that Pep Guardiola is ready to help the man he stated had a huge influence on his career by loaning him out some of his young Manchester City stars. The Elland Road outfit are keen on bringing Angus Gunn as their number one and he could also be able to land the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Brahim Diaz and Lukas Nmecha as well, with the Etihad Stadium side wanting them to get exposure whilst out on loan.

Landlord’s Verdict

Should the Whites be able to benefit from the relationship between Bielsa and Guardiola, there could be a good chance that they will be competing for Premier League football next season. With the Spaniard having a huge admiration for the Argentine, stating that he felt he was the best coach in the world, it would make it a lot easier for the Yorkshire outfit to make the additions they need without being too costly.
