Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern are due some good news following a disappointing campaign and could be set to receive something to celebrate.

However, they will finally be able to enjoy some positive news as Tom Pearce is set to commit his future to the club, according to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The media outlet claims the 20-year-old is believed to be satisfied with the new terms and will sign a deal once he returns from the England Under-20 squad.
The Leeds locals in the Tavern will be delighted with the news that they will be able to keep Pearce at Elland Road as he looks to build on his impressive showings with the first-team.
The defender has attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, however, he is expected to challenge for a first-team spot, after the Whites have had a number of players struggle in that position.
