Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern could still see a number of changes happen at Elland Road in what will be a busy summer for the Championship side.
The Whites are looking for their 11th manager in five years following the sacking of Paul Heckingbottom and the locals in the bar will hope that their managerial situation does not have an adverse effect on the transfer activity of the club.
The Yorkshire outfit will need to strengthen in order to compete in the Championship this season if they are to push for Premier League football, which will mean a number of faces arriving and departing from the club.
One player who could be on his way out this summer is Vurnon Anita, according to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post. The media outlet claim that he may have already played his last game for Leeds, despite having two years left on his three-year deal.
The former Newcastle United midfielder is currently trying to recover from an ankle injury that required surgery, however, it appears his future at Elland Road will come to a close once he has recovered.
The former Magpie has had a limited impact at the Whites in his first season with the club and the locals in the Tavern would have hoped for a greater level of performance in his first 12 months.
Despite being a midfielder by trade, Anita was used as a left-back last season as Leeds turned to him to solve their issues in that position, however, it appears he lacked conviction and will be forced to look for a new club this summer as a consequence.
