Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be sitting on the edge of their seats this summer as Marcelo Bielsa looks to bring a number of names through the doors of Elland Road.
The newly appointed manager is keen to add strength to a number of positions to the side he inherited this summer and has been busy making transfer plans.
The Argentine, who will be tasked with getting the Whites out of the Championship and back into the Premier League, has been looking to bring a striker to Elland Road who will help to add the firepower required to get promotion.
And, according to reports in the Daily Star, he could be about to seal his second signing of the summer with the arrival of Matej Vydra. The Derby County striker is thought to be close to sealing a £11million switch from the Rams.
The 26-year-old has shone in England since being brought to the country by Watford and has proven he can be a prolific goalscorer in the Championship.
The Leeds fans in the Tavern will be delighted that they are on the verge of completing a deal for Vydra this summer and will feel confident that their side will be able to find the goal more often than previously.
A fee of £11m would be considered a bargain for a player of the Czech’s ability, despite it being a lot of money to splash out on one player in the Championship and the locals will be hoping to reap the rewards come the end of the campaign next May.
