Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be starting to get frustrated with the way things are going this summer in regards to their recruitment drive.
The fact that Marcelo Bielsa was named as the new Elland Road boss would have left many of the locals hopeful that he could convince a host of names to join him as he looks to take the Whites to the Premier League.
However, he has only been able to bring Lewis Baker from Chelsea on loan so far and could be about to set another setback in the chase for one of his main transfer targets this summer, according to reports made in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The media outlet are claiming that Leeds are set to cool their interest in trying to convince Matej Vydra to join them at Elland Road. It is being claimed that his wage demands are more than what was previously expected and could force the club to abandon their bid to sign him.
The Leeds fans in the Tavern will be increasingly frustrated with how things have gotten this summer and will be concerned that they only have a short amount of time to find suitable targets if they are not going to chase Vydra.
It will not come as a surprise to the locals that the financial demands could be a deciding factor, as Leeds have decided against a move for Abel Hernandez due to the same concerns about a deal for him as well.
