Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be wanting a summer built on a number of additions, whilst also wanting to see a number of faces leave in the window that they consider being deadwood.
The locals in the bar have become frustrated with the way their side has played during the season, with many calling for a number of changes to be made. Paul Heckingbottom has found life difficult at the club since he arrived in February and despite his relatively short time at Elland Road, he may not be staying for much longer.
The Yorkshire Evening Post are claiming that the former Barnsley man’s job with the Whites is uncertain, with fresh rumours circulating that owner Andrea Radrizzani is considering another change. Indeed, talks between Heckingbottom and those behind the scenes at Elland Road aren’t thought to have been overly productive.
The Italian owner is concerned that Heckingbottom is not the right man to guide them back to the Premier League and has been looking abroad for answers to solve his problem.
Heckingbottom has rarely had a chance to get things going at Leeds having joined in February, however, in a results-based business, four wins in his 16 matches in charge is obviously not good enough for a club of the Whites stature.
The locals in the bar have called for him to go during the summer and with the likes of Claudio Ranieri, Filippo Inzaghi and Michael Laudrup all being linked, his time at Elland Road could be over sooner than he would have liked.
