Nottingham Forest fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking ahead to the new season and will be hoping the club can bring a number of players in this summer.
Aitor Karanka is keen to strengthen his side during the transfer window as he looks to mastermind promotion bid next season.
It has been said that the former Middlesbrough manager wants to bring a large number of players to the City Ground and, according to reports, he has already been making moves to recruit an important player.
The Daily Mail are claiming that the Tricky Trees are in talks with Watford to make Costel Pantilimon’s deal permanent, following a rather successful six-month spell towards the end of the campaign.
The 31-year-old, who is thought to be surplus to requirements at Vicarage Road, made 13 appearances for Forest, keeping four clean sheets in the process.
The Nottingham Forest fans in the Tavern will be delighted that the club are already trying to make moves in the transfer window and will be pleased they are making strikes to keep hold of Pantilimon.
A deal would look to be fairly simple to conclude, as he is not needed by the Premier League side and would definitely offer the Tricky Trees a more solid foundation if he were to begin the campaign with the club.
