Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking for the club to sort out the mess they have found themselves in quickly as they will want to continue with their recruitment process.
The club announced that they have sacked Paul Heckingbottom from his role as manager after just 115 days in charge, as Andrea Radrizanni not confident that he was the man to take them to the Premier League, having won just four of his 16 games in the job.
The locals will be interested to see who will take over at the helm at Elland Road, as they prepare for their 11th manager in five years, and according to reports, they could be set to bring a massive name to Yorkshire.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, former Argentina and Chile boss, Marcelo Bielsa has emerged as the shock favourite, with negotiations already thought to be underway with the Championship outfit optimistic about a deal happening.
The Leeds fans in the Tavern will be used to have different managers at the club and many will be pleased that the club have decided to let go of Heckingbottom.
A name like Bielsa would be a massive coup for the Yorkshire side and would certainly help the Whites to achieve what they have set out to do. The 62-year-old has been described as one of the ‘best coaches in the world’ by Pep Guardiola, whilst he also mentored Mauricio Pochettino in the past.
