West Bromwich Albion fans in the Transfer Tavern will want to see their side rebuild this summer following their relegation from the Premier League.
The Baggies are expected to lose a number of key names to top-flight clubs and the locals will be desperate to see the team make some additions to ensure they remain in a strong enough position to bounce back.
Jonny Evans and Gareth McAuley has already left, whilst Ahmed Hegazi and Craig Dawson have all attracted plenty of interest, and reports are now suggesting that Darren Moore has identified a target to replace at least one of them should they leave The Hawthorns.
According to the Daily Mirror, West Brom are thought to be interested in Swansea City’s Kyle Bartley. The defender, who only last year signed an extension to remain at the Liberty Stadium, has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, however, it remains to be seen whether the Swans will let him go.
The 27-year-old has proven more capable that he can perform at a high standard in the Championship, following successful loan spells with Birmingham City and Leeds United, however, it remains to be seen if Swansea will let him go now they are also in the division.
West Brom need to bring at least one centre-back to the Hawthorns this summer following the departures of Evans and McAuley and Bartley would definitely be one the locals would welcome immediately.
