Sheffield United are currently sitting atop the Championship table as the international break continues to take place.
The Blades will return to action with an away trip to Pride Park as they meet Derby County and will want to carry on with their winning form.
Chris Wilder will have been pleased with how the Bramall Lane outfit have started their Championship campaign, but it is understood that he feels there is still areas of his squad that need improving.
It is being claimed that Birmingham City’s Jota is on the club’s radar after impressing for the Midlands outfit since his move from Brentford in the summer of 2017.
Sheffield United look good value for money as a promotion contender this season, but Wilder would be right to look at adding Jota to the side.
The Spaniard has become one of the Championship’s key attackers during his time in the league and has been impressing once again this season, with one goal and four assists in his 12 games this season, which could be the difference in them getting back to the Premier League.
Although Jota would significantly improve the Blades, it remains to be seen if Birmingham will accept an offer for the player, however, they will want to keep him for their own promotion charge.
