Sheffield Wednesday discussing possible Neeskens Kabano switch

Steve Bruce could be in line to make his first Sheffield Wednesday addition this January.

According to a report by The Star, The Owls are in talks to bring Fulham’s Neeskens Kebano to Hillsborough on a loan deal.

Negotiations are believed to be ongoing and it is understood Sheffield Wednesday are hoping they will be able to have him for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old has great experience of the Championship and could be exactly the type of player Bruce needs to freshen things up for the Yorkshire outfit.

Kebano is a quick and direct player who has an eye for goal and was a first-team regular in the second tier for the Londoners.

However, the Democratic Republic of Congo international has struggled for game-time in the Premier League this season, where he has yet to feature for Fulham.

The Verdict:

Kebano has plenty of experience of the Championship and could become a real asset to Sheffield Wednesday if he were to complete a switch.

The 26-year-old is versatile across the front line of the pitch and could give them something extra as they look to attack.

Although this could be a great deal, The Owls will need to address their defensive ranks as well before January is over.
