Sheffield Wednesday have been rather impressive in recent times after suffering a rough patch of games, as they’ve secured a couple of positive results.
The Owls will be hoping that this is a sign of things to come as they could be dragged into a relegation battle if things go drastically downhill again. Although, it appears as if the club are eyeing a possible addition, as according to Fotboll Direkt (via The Star), Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Alexander Milosevic.
It’s thought that the Owls have offered a contract to 26-year-old defender Alexander Milosevic.
Interestingly, the four-times-capped Sweden international’s contract at AIK runs out at the end of this month and it is not thought he will be offered a new deal.
Indeed, Sheffield Wednesday have struggled in defence in the current campaign, so bringing in reinforcements will be crucial in preparation for the second half of the season.
Alexander Milosevic has impressed right the way through his international career, even at youth level, along with enjoying a successful season at current club AIK in Sweden.
Indeed, the Owls need to get someone with his experience on board as he has the ability to cure any underlying issues at the heart of the defence.
