Sheffield Wednesday had a busy Deadline Day on Thursday as Steve Bruce looked to make additions to his new side.
The club have confirmed on their official website that The Owls have completed the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Dominic Iorfa.
The defender has arrived on a permanent deal, although the fee has not been disclosed by the club.
The England Under-21 international became Bruce’s first signing since taking over at Hillsborough and will likely play a vital role in their Championship campaign.
Iorfa has plenty of experience of playing in the second tier of English football, having featured for Wolves and Ipswich on a loan deal last season.
Iorfa should be considered a brilliant addition to the Sheffield Wednesday side as they look to improve things at the club.
The defence has been a bit of a problem area for the club over the majority of the campaign, although they have improved since the arrival of Bruce and his management team.
The 23-year-old, who is a pacy individual, will look to improve things at the back even further and his experience of the Championship could benefit The Owls hugely.
