Leeds' excellent start to the season continued as they beat Norwich 3-0 yesterday.

Once again the Yorkshire side were superb going forward as they beat a Norwich City side that did cause them some problems early in the game.

Thanks to goals from Pablo Hernandez, Ezgjan Alioski, and Mateusz Klich, Leeds moved to the top of the table and are definitely one of the favourites to be promoted this season.

Under Marcelo Bielsa, the Whites look like a side transformed although the Argentinian manager has kept much of last season's first XI intact with only Barry Douglas the only player newcomer into the starting XI.

Yesterday, Bielsa brought back fan favourite and quality defender, Pontus Jansson into the side following an injury to Liam Cooper before the Swansea game.

The Breakdown

Jansson missed the start of this season but was a rock at the back for Bielsa yesterday.

In his first season with the club, Jansson was excellent but last year his form did drop following the departure of Kyle Bartley following the conclusion of his loan spell.

This season, Bielsa has used other fan favourite, Gaetano Berardi and Liam Cooper in the middle but with Cooper out with an injury, the Swede could well be about to make a return to the team.

If Jansson can get back to the form he showed in his first season with the club, Bielsa could well have one of the best defenders in the league and one that could help their title push.
