Nottingham Forest have been one of the shining lights in the Championship recently as they continue to hunt down promotion to the Premier League.
The Midlands club have certainly come on leaps and bounds under the guidance of Aitor Karanka after a rather busy summer transfer window. Although, it appears as if Nottingham Forest have had to wave goodbye to one of their youngsters, as according to Woking Football Club’s official website, Toby Edser has joined on loan.
Nottingham Forest midfielder Toby Edser has joined National League South side Woking on a one-month loan deal.
Indeed, the 19-year old has been a star of the Forest Under 23 side but is now looking to get senior football under his belt to aid his development.
Interestingly, the central midfielder was on trial at Lincoln City during the summer but nothing came of this, which is why he has now opted to move on loan to a National League side.
Toby Edser is very highly-rated at the City Ground but a loan move to the National League seems suitable at this moment in time, with the opportunity to get regular football under his belt.
Indeed, the midfielder could push for a first team place in the future if he manages to enjoy a successful loan spell, so Karanka will be sure to keep a close eye on his development.
