Birmingham City have come on leaps and bounds under Garry Monk this season, with a play-off spot now within their sights in the Championship.
The Blues have been in sublime form since losing to Aston Villa a while back, which has put them in a very promising position to meet their targets this season.
Although, the Midlands club had to wave goodbye to one of their exciting academy products recently, as according to Birmingham City’s official Twitter account, Tommy Anderson has joined Hungerford Town on a one-month loan.
Interestingly, two Birmingham City youngsters, Jake Weaver and Josh Martin, are already at Hungerford Town, so he’ll feel right at home.
Anderson has been with the club since the age of seven and last season broke into the Blues’ Under-23s side.
And, in the current campaign he has made 16 appearances for Richard Beale’s Development Squad, scoring three goals.
Tommy Anderson has plenty of potential and has already shown that he can score goals from midfield this season, with three to his name at this moment in time.
If Anderson enjoys a successful loan spell while he’s at Hungerford Town then he could catch the eye of Garry Monk, who has made Wes Harding a first-team regular since taking over.
