Caleb Ekuban does not appear to have a future at Leeds United – that much seemingly appears to be clear.
He had a difficult debut year for The Whites, in which he failed to get back into the team after having to spend time on the sidelines through injury, and things did not get better for him in the summer.
The striker was instantly left out of the squad when Marcelo Bielsa took over at Elland Road and was sent to Trabzonspor on loan in a deal that would run the duration of the season.
The Turkish Super Lig club are understood to have an option to make the move permanent and it looks as though they have made a decision on when they could look at considering whether to do so.
According to a report by Fanatik, Trabzonspor are understood to be prepared to wait until the final stages on the campaign before they make a possible offer for the 24-year-old.
If his recent performances are anything to go by, it is likely that Trabzonspor will take up the option to sign Ekuban permanently.
The Leeds striker has produced a couple of impressive displays over the past few weeks, scoring some important goals for the Super Lig outfit along the way.
As mentioned, his future clearly looks to be over at Elland Road under Bielsa, so he will be hoping he can continue to impress and make his stay in Turkey permanent.
