West Bromwich Albion are thought to be closing in on another signing this summer as Darren Moore looks to add options to his squad.
The former Norwich City man is a free agent after deciding to leave the club following the expiration of his contract and is free to join up with the Hawthorns outfit despite the transfer window being closed.
Moore is thought to have been impressed with the former Republic of Ireland international and sees the attacker as an ideal option to help bring creativity to his squad as they look to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
West Brom take on Birmingham City today (Friday), however, Hoolahan is not expected to be apart of the squad that takes to the field to try and win all three points.
Hoolahan will be a great addition to West Brom this summer as the club look to put themselves in a good position to challenge for promotion.
With it being understood that the former Norwich man will only sign a deal until January, it could be suggested that Moore has plans to be active in the transfer window once it reopens, or there are some doubts in whether the 36-year-old can last the entire season.
However, with the Baggies and their manager being focused on the here and now, Hoolahan will be looking to make a solid impact for the club once everything has been confirmed.
