West Bromwich Albion are beginning to find their feet in the Championship as they continue to push for promotion straight back to the Premier League.
The Baggies still have a rather strong squad despite seeing Nacer Chadli depart from Monaco, with Darren Moore being the perfect man to take them forward. Although, it appears as if the Championship club missed out on deadline day, as according to the Sun (print edition Sunday September 2nd, page 59) (via HITC), West Bromwich Albion failed with a deadline day bid to sign Bojan Krkic.
Indeed, West Bromwich Albion failed with a deadline day bid to sign Stoke City’s Bojan on a season-long loan.
Darren Moore saw enough in the Spaniard and believed that he could have made a real impact at the Hawthorns, after switching their attention to the attacking midfielder due to missing out Bradley Dack.
The Baggies won’t be too bothered that they didn’t manage to land the attacker as Dwight Gayle seems to have found his feet in the Championship after scoring two yesterday.
Indeed, the Midlands club have started to gather some momentum and will be a real force in the Championship this season, so it would come as no surprise if they managed to secure promotion.
