West Bromwich Albion have seen their promotion hopes take a slight dent over the last couple of fixtures.
The Baggies were held to a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday before a New Year’s Day defeat to Blackburn Rovers, leaving them three points adrift of an automatic spot.
However, it appears Darren Moore is set to use the January transfer window to try and bring in some attacking reinforcements.
The 23-year-old winger has been in prolific form for the League Two outfit this season, having hit six goals and provided seven assists as The Stags look to win promotion themselves.
Hamilton’s performances are thought to have attracted plenty of interest from a number of clubs higher up the Football League, with West Brom one reportedly keen.
Hamilton has been impressing with Mansfield in League Two and has certainly shown his ability in the final third.
The 23-year-old has bundles of pace, which is something that Moore is thought to have taken a liking too, believing the winger could bring another dimension to the squad at The Hawthorns.
With a number of clubs thought to be interested, and with Mansfield determined to keep hold of him, it remains to be seen if West Brom will look to make an offer this month.
