Darren Moore’s side will most likely look to head into the January transfer window with players in mind, and according to a report by The Daily Mail, they may have just made an appointment that could help them achieve their promotion aspirations.
The former Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Fulham and Chelsea defender will now coordinate with the West Brom’s current scouting network to find the best players available.
West Brom have been looking to bolster their backroom staff in recent months and Pearce’s appointment could turn out to be an excellent one for the club.
Luke Dowling was employed by The Hawthorns outfit as a technical director last month, showing that the Baggies are determined to put the infrastructure in place for an immediate return to the Premier League.
It remains to be seen who Pearce will be able to find that can fit the system that Moore has in place, but January could become an exciting time for those at the club.
