West Bromwich Albion have been one of the form teams in the Championship recently, with their sights set firmly on securing promotion to the Premier League.
The Baggies won’t want to lose any momentum at this stage in the season with the opportunity to mount a lead at the top of the table in what will be a long, tiring campaign. Although, it appears as if the Midlands club won’t lose Harvey Barnes in January, as according to Birmingham Live, Luke Dowling insists that there is no recall.
There’s a degree of uncertainty as to whether Barnes will be recalled early in January.
“Apart from the headlines of him getting us goals there’s nothing to say, because he’s with us until the end of the season,”
“That’s a straight season loan. There’s no recall.”
“We’re happy with him, he’s happy here.”
Harvey Barnes has been one of the standout performers in the Championship this season, with a bright future ahead of him in the Premier League.
The youngster will play a huge part in the Baggies’ promotion push, so it’s great news that the club’s technical director has stated that it is a straight season season loan.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
