West Bromwich Albion have been working hard this summer to make sure their side is in a position to challenge for promotion back to the Premier League.
The Baggies were relegated last season following a poor campaign and have been feeling the fallout from it with a number of players having already departed from The Hawthorns, whilst a lot of others have been pushing for a move away.
However, Darren Moore has been busy adding to the side as he looks to give them their best chance of remaining competitive with the likes of Sam Johnstone, Jonathan Bond, Kyle Bartley and Harvey Barnes joining up so far.
According to The Express and Star, the club are considering to offer James Morrison a new contract after previously releasing him this summer. It is believed the player has been working hard in training and has proven his fitness after a torrid time with injuries.
Re-signing Morrison would be a good piece of business for the Baggies to make this summer as he is an experienced professional that has done it all for West Brom.
The Scotland international would be extending his stay with the club to a 12th season if he were to sign a new one-year deal with the side and would definitely work hard to get them back to the Premier League.
However, there would be concerns about his weekly wage, as it is believed he currently earns around £60,000 a week, which would be considered huge for a Championship outfit.
