Our Wolves fans here in the Transfer Tavern were watching the play-off final yesterday afternoon hoping that that can be them in twelve month’s time.
Indeed, with both Huddersfield and Reading – the two finalists this season – recording bottom half finishes in 2015/16, there is hope for a club like Wolves that they can turn things around sharpish too.
For sure, though, they’re going to need some good signings to help them achieve that aim and it seems as though the links are beginning to emerge.
Indeed, according to German outlet Kicker they are looking at Ghanaian defender Phil Ofusu-Ayeh with him available on a free this summer.
Indeed, his contract expires in the coming weeks and with him currently at Eintracht Braunschweig he would represent somewhat of a gamble given he is relatively unknown.
Even so, sometimes these punts can pay off and with it likely to cost the club nothing in terms of transfer fees it could just be worth a roll of the dice.
