# Transfer saga to drag on for Man United following latest striker reports

**The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely delighted about how their club’s kids performed against Crystal Palace today.**

In stark contrast to the likes of James Harrop and Scott McTominay – who impressed during their Old Trafford bows – Wayne Rooney delivered another laboured performance in what could have been his last ever game at Old Trafford.

His future has been the subject of debate for the last months and – amid links with a move away – may have bid farewell to the United faithful for one last time.

Still, reports from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4526016/Manchester-United-delay-decision-Wayne-Rooney-s-future.html) suggest his next move is not as cut and dry as many Red Devils would have hoped. They’ve [revealed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4526016/Manchester-United-delay-decision-Wayne-Rooney-s-future.html) there are NO scheduled talks between the England skipper and Jose Mourinho after next week’s Europa League final.

While Everton and clubs in the Chinese Super League are [said](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4526016/Manchester-United-delay-decision-Wayne-Rooney-s-future.html) to retain an interest in the 31-year-old, Rooney’s future may not be decided for a while.

For the United fans in the bar, they just hope the Rooney situation is resolved as soon as possible.

**Thoughts?**
