# Transfer target is Tottenham’s if Soldado is sacrificed

[![Guarin.jpg](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Guarin1-500x318.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Fredy-Gaurin-4.jpeg)Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have not seen too many players arrive at White Hart Lane yet this summer but there is still time.

And according to [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/inter-milan-want-soldado-and-ps10m-tottenham-exchange-colombia-star-140813107362), Tottenham have been told by Inter Milan that they will need to pay £10 million as well as including Roberto Soldado in any deal for Nerazzurri midfielder Fredy Guarin.

The Serie A side had initially wanted a straight cash deal for Guarin worth up to £14 million.

However according to reports, the Italian giants are now offering the North London club the chance to use the Spanish striker as a makeweight in any deal.

Soldado was dubbed a flop by all last season as he struggled to adapt to the English game, scoring just six Premier League goals.

The 29-year old former Valencia star had been linked with a move back to La Liga this summer with Atletico Madrid lining him up as a replacement for Diego Costa.

However Spurs would be leaving themselves awfully short in attack if they were to proceed in agreeing to Inter’s offer.

### **Tottenham fans. Would you be prepared to let Soldado leave if it meant you could bring in Guarin? Let us know your thoughts below.**
