![Inter-Milans-interest-Paulinho-wants-to-stay-at-Corinthians-170630](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Inter-Milans-interest-Paulinho-wants-to-stay-at-Corinthians-170630.jpg)There is a cracker of a story in [talkSPORT](https://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130617/tottenham-target-insists-talks-about-his-future-are-hold-199) this morning for us here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed that Paulinho has played down talk of a move to England amidst Tottenham’s transfer interest.

The exciting midfielder is currently being tracked by a host of clubs and now it seems that he has moved to play down speculation over a move to the Premier League.

Spurs are thought to be very interested in the player as manager Andre Villas-Boas looks to bring in top class players that will convince star man Gareth Bale that he should stay at the club and snub a move to Real Madrid.

In their quest for Champions League football, Tottenham have been linked with the Brazilian who claimed that: “Unfortunately, at this moment in time, nobody has offered Corinthians the fee set in my contract for my sale. Nobody.

“All I am hearing is blah, blah, blah. My agent is in London right now, but he is not discussing me – he has other clients.

“Roma and Inter are clubs where any player [https://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130617/tottenham-target-insists-talks-about-his-future-are-hold-199#](https://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130617/tottenham-target-insists-talks-about-his-future-are-hold-199#) would want to be, but you’ll see that nothing will happen until after the Confederations Cup,” he added.
